Hêja is a Kurdish producer, dramaturg, actress and singer. In 2014, she graduated from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. In 2016 she was imprisoned for political reasons while she was preparing to go to US for Master’s degree in Columbia University as a Fullbright scholar. In 2017 she produced feature Film “Momê” in which she played as leading actress. In 2018 she fled to Germany on facing more imprisonment. In 2019 she wrote and directed her first docudrama short film “The Naked” in which she acted as well. In 2020 she released her first music album “Stranên Neşuştî.” Heja is currently living in Hamburg and she is working with BAN theatre since 2019.
